Candy has been involved with wildlife conservation projects for several years, most notably working for the IUCN Canid Specialist Group, studying the behaviour of the wild and domestic dog family through both academic research and fieldwork.
She also specialises in domestic cat ecology and behaviour. Candy joined us in June 2003, having completed her PhD and sees clients both at our centre or at home by veterinary referral.
Candy has a busy household which includes two toddlers, Logan and Tori, Ellie, a Chesapeake Bay Retriever and Ky an African Grey Parrot.
