Pet Corrector

My dog is extremely afraid of people (as well as everything else).  He has been this way since I've had him.  I got him as a puppy, about 3-4 months old when he was hit by a car, had severe injuries, lost a leg and had a shattered pelvis.  I was the vet student on duty when he was brought in as a stray by the local humane society.  We saved him, and he recovered well, and if he never had to see another person, he'd be the perfect dog.  He is extremely hypervigilant, there is no distance that he can see a person and not react.  He barks ferociously, nonstop, and it is very difficult to interrupt him.  If I am very proactive and see them first, sometimes I can preempt his reaction, but once he starts...  The spray bottle doesn't help, nor does the citronella collar, I won't use a shock collar, blocking his vision and trying to redirect him is usually not helpful.  His hypervigilance has made it very difficult to work with him using desensitize/resp. substitution/counter conditioning.  Earlier this year I bought a pet corrector to see how it might help.  It worked!!!  For the first time we've found something to use to help him have some self control around people.  I don't always even have to have the Corrector, I just have to hiss with my mouth.  Using the Pet Corrector, I have actually been able to work with him.  We can have him out with company now, we went to a dog park, stayed at a hotel on vacation.  We often go to my friend's farm so the dogs can run in a large fenced area, but usually my friend's dogs are out in the other part of the yard.  My dog will run the fenceline barking and fence-fighting unless he's leashed.  Recently we went and took our pet corrector.  I had to use it once when we first got there and he saw the dogs out, but I never had to use it again.  He never even approached the fenceline.  He was calm and relaxed, never panicked.  He went running with the rest of our dogs and had a great time!  I can't tell you how impressed we were with his behavior.  Since we found the pet corrector, my dog's world has been expanded.  Without it, he still is easily overreactive, and even when he is calm he is still very nervous of people, but this is the most progress we've made in years (even with years of behavioral medications).

Thank you

I am a professional dog groomer and I own my own shop in Port Perry, Ontario, Canada.

I absolutely LOVE the Pet Corrector spray!! My business can be very noisy and after a few hours of continuous barking, a headache is inevitable.  I have tried the PC to break this undesirable behavior and it worked like a charm.  Many of my clients have the same problems at home with barking as well as many other dog issues that they would like to break.  Being in this type of business allows me to give many dog owners advice on different issues that they are experiencing with their pets and I feel that due to this, I would have great success in selling this fabulous product.

Sincerely,

Have to admit I bought this product with a small part of me thinking I was once again falling for one of these amazing products being offered that don't work or last like promised. I am happy to say this time I was pleasantly surprised.  My dogs are barkers and we have been working on this for a LONG time.  I bought this product yesterday and am amazed at the difference in one day.  I also volunteer for a rescue group and have emailed all of them telling of my results and many are already on their way out to get some.

I thank you and I am sure my neighbors thank you as well.

When the "Pet Corrector" speaks, my dogs listen....I am excited to tell you about this exiting training tool with a lot of potential. The Pet Corrector is a handy air-pressured canister that emits a noticeable "psssst" sound that imitates my own on a larger scale, and my dogs respect to a larger degree!  This sound interrupts the unwanted behavior and definitely gets their attention.  I recommend having one handy if you frequent dog parks, or wherever you go.  I also believe it would be an asset when working on aggressive behavior.   Another use is as a distraction to "proof" your dogs sit/down stays!  You never know when you'll need to make a substantial correction that really makes dogs pay attention!  Boarding and daycare facilities could benefit from this safe distraction as well.   BRAVO!!!

"Greetings from the USA, I got a dog about 1.5 years ago from Animal Friends. She was wild & out of control, but I slowly "civilized" her, except..... During our walks, when we'd come upon another dog, she'd always go crazy & want to run after the dog & would be difficult to control, untill....Until I bought your Pet Corrector! I only had to use it a few times & now we can walk past any dog/situation with no problems whatsoever. UNBELIEVABLE!!! The only problem is that you've probably made a product that works TOO well. I still have about 95% of the contents left in the sprayer & probably won't ever havePC_in_hand.jpg to buy another one. THANKS AGAIN FOR SUCH A GREAT PROUDCT!!!"

"I am writing to you with regard to your 'Pet Corrector' product.  I was an attendee at the Pet Expo on 21 March.  Your company had a table with the Pet Corrector product.  My Great Pyrenees, Lucy, (our 6th Great Pyrenees) is almost 8 years old and having said that, I normally would not look to purchase training products at this senior stage in her life.

For the most part Lucy is adequately behaved with the exception of certain stubborn habits that she has had since birth - some of which are Great Pyrenees attributes.  First, Great Pyrenees need to bark to let everyone know that they are 'watching'.  Second, and particularly Lucy, they love to be outside and love to pretend that they are hard of hearing when it's time to call them in.   During the past 8 years, we could probably count on our fingers the number of times we called Lucy 'once or twice' to come in and she quickly responded - other than during training sessions, when she knew that she was supposed to pay attention.  Getting her to come inside, especially during inclimate weather, required getting on the boots and coats and climbing through the ice and snow to pull her by her collar.  Sometimes we had to chase her - sometimes she would give in once we were all dressed to get her.

At the show, I purchased the 'Pet Corrector' and decided to try it on Lucy - to see if it would work at getting her in on our terms and not hers.  When I got home I opened the package and called Lucy inside.  As usual, she ignored me.  I sprayed the nozzle once and called her in again.  She ran into the house immediately.  Wow!  In order to obtain a proper level of confidence that the produce was really working with her, we did it one more time.  She couldn't get into the house fast enough.  From that point forward (after 2 sprays in total), we would call her in and make a 'shshshsh' noise, similar to air coming from the can.  That's all it takes and Lucy runs inside each time and it is almost 2 weeks now since we started this.

The only problem we had was one time we called her in and we had the screen door closed.  She ran into the house before we had the chance to open the door and she knocked the door off the track and bent it.  Totally worth it!

Thank you for a great product.  By the way, this is the first time ever that I have contacted a vendor about a product, unless it was to complain."

"WOW!  I want to thank whoever invented the Pet Corrector.  It is  incredibly effective while being  humane.  I have a 170 lb Newfoundland, a Wolf Hybrid and a Bullmastiff.  When someone came to the door, it was havoc. I tried everything, but could not break them out of the "pack mentality". I tried your product one time.  Now all I have to do is reach for that container, and they all sit down and wait for my command. Thank you so much

"After adopting my German Shepherd Dog, nothing whatsoever would deter her from lunging after other dogs. But the Pet Corrector works like a dream – a brilliant product!"

Alexa, German Shepherd Rescue Org., October 2009

"My dog now only has to see the (Pet Corrector) tin in my hand and that is enough to stop him barking!"
